Bio

I decided to be a veterinarian at the tender age of 3, when my grandfather took me to his barn to see the cats.  I guess thats true.  All I know is that this was destined to be my profession.  I grew up in Roswell, Ga.  I graduated high school from The Lovett School in 1997, and then went on to undergrad and vet school at Auburn University.  Below you can find my CV.

Banner Veterinary Relief is named after my cockatoo.  No, I do not see exotic pets.  I pet sat for Banner when I was in middle and high school.  Her owner wrote me a recommendation to get into vet school.  That must have been what got me there!  Once I was accepted, Banner's owner gifted her to me.  Banner was known as my "Angry Chicken", during vet school.  I think she liked me because she knew me before she went through puberty, she definitely hated all other women, and "flirted" with my father.   Sadly, she died while my husband and I were on our honeymoon.  She was about my age and, as a Sulfur Crested Cockatoo, I thought she would be  a life long companion.  Although I have had may pets who I love, this company is named after Banner, who was supposed to still be here.
